Comment: This is the last year for production of Roosevelt dimes from the San Francisco Mint. The facility was closed during the year and was given the new title of "Assay Office". Production levels at all three mints are extremely low when compared to other years. For these two reasons, Roosevelt dimes were hoarded in large numbers. They are readily available in single or roll quantities.
